Teravail's Kennebec delivers serious loose-conditions traction in plus sizes that take the focus off the who's-wider argument, instead zeroing in on real-world performance demanded by today's riders. Available in two casing types, there is a Kennebec to fit your severe duty dirt needs. Teravail designed the 2.6" Kennebec to offer the best balance of volume, weight, and traction. A slightly smaller casing than standard plus-sized 29er tires reduces weight and rolling resistance while working on a wide range of rim widths. Riders still feel the benefits of increased traction and lower air pressure found in a larger volume casing.
Surly's Knard is a 29 x 3-inch wide tire with the perfect tread for maximum traction plus low rolling resistance. It's designed for Surly's 50mm-wide Rabbit Hole rim (sold separately), and it will also play nice on rims down to about 35mm wide. But, your frame must have the clearance, Clarence.

Sometimes the greatest personal journeys involve long days, sleepless nights, towering mountain passes and racing to the next town before the cafe closes. For long-distance routes and the tenacious riders who travel them, Teravail created the Sparwood. The Sparwood has bikepacking deeply engrained in its DNA. When navigating routes comprised of jeep roads, twisty singletrack, gravel tracks, and paved connecting sections, a 2.2” casing seems to be the sweet spot. It offers decreased rolling resistance, reduced weight, and excellent maneuverability in a stable 29” diameter. - Tubeless ready for flat prevention, lower-pressure traction and comfort - Durable model features a layer of woven aramid fiber reinforcement between the outer rubber and the inner casing that protects against abrasion and sharp trail debris
From light winter trail riding to commuting, the Kahva allows you to carve your way through winter with steel carbide studs as well as single, double, and triple-siped lugs. - Siping on center and side lugs allows them to conform to terrain better for increased grip in any riding conditions - Steel carbide studs provide traction in the iciest conditions - Directional lugs provide low rolling resistance while offering excellent braking traction
The Maxxis Assegai tire is named after the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. Greg Minnaar, a native of South Africa, thought it was a fitting name for a tire ready to do battle on the mountain. The Assegai tire is designed primarily for downhill racing and aggressive trail riding in mixed conditions. The knob height falls between the Minion DHR II and the Shorty. Like the Minion tires, the center knobs are heavily ramped on the leading edge to reduce rolling resistance. A small knob located between the center tread and side knobs provides a smooth transition while cornering. When combined with Maxxis’ 3C MaxxGrip rubber compound, the Assegai offers predictable traction, even over slippery roots and rocks. - Wide Trail casing optimized for 30mm-35mm rims - 3C MaxxGrip rubber compound for unparalleled traction - Dual-ply downhill casing - Tubeless-Ready bead

When you’re out on a ride the last thing you want is to be limited by your tires in any way. Our ExtraTerrestrial Tires were designed to let you ride without limits by simply following the only tenets we have for tire design: they’re high volume and they kick ass. The ExtraTerrestrial tire was meant to serve as a heavy-duty off-road touring tire that shines on hardpack surfaces. It uses a nylon breaker in the sidewalls for cut protection, a molded pattern for anti-cut propagation, and a Kevlar cap under the tread to protect against flats. The ET Tire uses a distinctly directional tread pattern and its width yields more traction than you might expect from a tire with such little rolling resistance. The tread is low profile with a file tread in between tread blocks. The ExtraTerrestrial tire has enough width and traction for the soft stuff and won’t bog you down on smooth or hard surfaces. - Folding bead - Casing: 60 TPI
Cruise in style with Schwalbe's Fat Frank. Their wide, round Balloonbike profile provides natural cushy suspension, and it rolls easily thanks to the smooth tread. It's also available in three colors to add panache to your cruiser. Weights: - 890 grams (29 x 2.0) - 975 grams (26 x 2.35)

It has a fast-rolling tread design with carefully shaped knob blocks to lighten the tire while maintaining enhanced cornering traction and braking effectiveness. It also features our own GRIPTON compound that maximizes mechanical grip, damps vibration, and offers unparalleled traction in either wet or dry conditions. How? Our GRIPTON compound recipe filters low and high frequencies, keeping your tires planted and you in control. - Casing: 120 TPI - Bead: Foldable - Butyl wrapped bead = 2Bliss Ready - Compound: GRIPTON - 29 x 2.1", psi 25-50, approximate weight 510g - 29 x 2.3", psi 25-50, approximate weight 575g
The Eliminator features a new generation of tread that combines an aggressive block design with a well-balanced tread pattern. Its transition knobs help bridge the traditional channel between the center and shoulder knobs, making the Eliminator perfect for enduro where versatility is key. The Eliminator still has the bite of a DH tire but also brings the manners to handle well on hardpacked trails. These characteristics also work well for trail e-bikes, too—combining the bite needed to stay in control on the trail with neutral handling on fire roads. The new BLCK DMND casing strikes the balance between suppleness and extreme pinch-flat protection. In order to descend all-out, you need as much traction as possible. The tire needs to conform and hold on to the ground, but it also needs to protect against pinch flats. In order for this to happen, only the treaded part of the tire needs to conform, grip, and dampen, while the tire base serves up stability and support for better steering inputs. It also features our own GRIPTON compound that maximizes mechanical grip, damps vibration, and offers unparalleled traction in either wet or dry conditions. - Casing: Center Overlap, Flip Up and Rubber Apex - Bead: Foldable - Butyl wrapped bead = 2Bliss Ready - Compound: GRIPTON - 29 x 2.3", psi 25-50 - 29 x 2.6", psi 20-40
The latest generation of the World-Cup-proven intermediate tire, the Butcher BLCK DMND 2Bliss Ready, receives sawtooth faces on the tread blocks to increase stability under load and to provide additional biting edges. This, in turn, improves rolling speed as well as control under hard braking and cornering. Meanwhile, our proprietary GRIPTON compound improves high-frequency damping, gripping the tire to the ground better on both small bumps and rough sections. The low frequencies of the rolling tire deflections pass through unfiltered, leaving no energy absorbed and keeping speed high. Once you ride the Butcher, you'll never want another tire for your gravity excursions. The new BLCK DMND casing strikes the balance between suppleness and extreme pinch flat protection. In order to descend all-out, you need as much traction as possible, the tire needs to conform and hold on to the ground, but also protect from pinch flats. In order for this to happen, only the treaded part of the tire needs to conform, grip, and dampen, while the tire base offers stability and support for steering inputs. - Folding bead - 2Bliss Ready - Compound: GRIPTON - Pressure: 20 – 40psi - Casing: Center Overlap, Flip Up, and Rubber Apex

In 1984 Tom was the first to appropriate road tire technology for mountain bike tire design by introducing tread wear analysis, higher TPI, and more compliant rubber compounds. Pioneering what he called Vector Force Analysis, he developed trail-specific tread patterns and technology for MTB tires. The result was the first ever rotation directional-specific tire, as well as the first front- and rear-specific treads. The newest mountain bike tires to the Ritchey line are no strangers to VFA. Featuring a wider, reinforced casing to handle a more aggressive terrain, the Bite and Drive are the culmination of years of analysis for all mountain riding. Bite: front or rear, rotational specific tread that bites into the terrain for excellent control in all conditions. - VFA Tread Design - 7mm StrongHold bead-to-bead casing reinforcement (WCS) - Tubeless-ready (WCS) - WCS (120 TPI) or Comp (30TPI) levels - 795g (650b WCS)
