The Disc version of the Team30 brings an affordable semi-aero wheelset to the latest generation of disc brake-equipped bikes. Construction is very similar to the rim brake Team30, with 30mm deep aluminum rims and CNC machined hubs with sealed cartridge bearings. Disc brakes put very different loads on wheels than rim brakes, so the Team30 Disc is beefed up with more spokes 24 front, 24 rear. 2-cross lacing at the front and a mix of 2- and 3-cross at the back deals with the torque demands of disc brakes.
